Lecture No.2

On Thursday 10th December, 2015 we have arranged a talk on the topic “Innovative Technology for Humans in Space” to be given by Mr. Prakhar Nandi.  Prakhar is an Aerospace Engineer and he had delivered a wonderful talk on the “Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle” at Akashmitra in September, 2015.

In this talk, he has promised to speak on the recent advancements in technology for humans in space. For example, being in space, one is subjected to extreme physical activity. For this reason there is technology to develop body muscle and retain mass. Another is that of 3D printing aboard the International Space Station (ISS) so that people can manufacture tools according to their needs. We look forward for this exciting talk which will enlighten us on the cutting edge technology mankind has developed in the 21st century.

The talk will be at 6:30pm at the National Institute of Ophthalmology (NIO) on Ghole Road on Thursday 10th December, 2015.
